Book Review

KiMu Kipi

The book KiMu Kipi is one of the best book which talks about the history and evolution of earth from the solid masses of rock to till now and this book also cover the information that Eve was the first to born in this world and the author tries to explain this with scientific facts. This particular book talks about the evolution and origin of species,Religion, war, crusades and it also talks about the civilization of the world. Also it speaks about the kings and the laws generated by them and also he tried to cover the epic of Egyptian civilization.

The author has taken the book in a very interesting way and don't bore the readers with only facts. He also speaks about the humans travel to different part of world and how much years the humans took to travel(I wonder on this facts its extremely brilliant). This also speaks about the first formed law book by king and also about the clay tablets which is very interesting. The author speaks more about the Egyptian kings (perhaps he forgot  the other king??) and their mummification process.

Every information and facts about this books are very interesting. Author speaks about the drifting of land from Africa (and how it formed as the southern part of India) continent .He also speaks about the tectonic plate shift and other cool stuff but only one thing is disappointing in the author writing is he haven't given information about the Dravidian civilization.Which is very disappointing from the author. But on all the above this book is best to read and the facts are amazing. Must read book..

History of India From Tamil Nadu

Raja Rajendran
As of now i am going to write the historical incidents that took place in the periods of three ancient Tamil kings who ruled a major portion of India till Himalayas. This three great Tamil kings were called as muvendar and they are Chera, Chola and Pandaya. Here I am going to provide the information about the Chola kings first. In Chola's i am choosing the renowned king "Raja Rajendra Chola" who is also known as the "Vengaiyin Mainthan", "Mumudi Cholan","Raja kesari","Para kesari" and many more titltes.

I choose this Chola king because the there are not many books and novels fantasizing about this great king who is considered the "Alexander of South" and he is the one of the king who never lost a single battle to the enemy and was victorious as if he is the angel of victory. This great king did many wonders that their predeccsors failed to do so. He conquered the many place even "Raja Raja Cholan" failed to conquer in his life time.

The above is the portrait of great and might Rajendra Chola. This king has elongated the fame of India in South East Asia and even in other place like Java, Sumatra, Bali and Ellam (Sri Lanka). He fought countless battles with great Western Chalukyas and won numerous times and he is the one who took whole of Sri Lanka, the Sri Vijayam, Kadaram and Pegu now this place have various names but they are currently the Malaysia,Burma and Whole of Indonesia.

This Chola was know for treating his enemies and refugees with great respect and honour like Alexander did he won the enemies country and gibe those country to that king itself if he accepts to be his ally nation. He gave this concession to Pandayas and Cheras a numerous times. Only in this period the Pandyans were suppressed fully and their close war allies from Lanka was completely destroyed. Afterall this victories he bring back the "Mani Magudam" or "Crown" of Tamil Kings from Lankan which Lankan peoples not even ready to give to the Pandayas(Who own those crown).

This particular crown has specific history that god Indira gave that as a gift to one of the Pandaya king. The Pandayan due to fear of losing the crown gave it to Lanka which they refused to give and the great "Raja Rajendra" waged a war with the Lankan to get back the crown with the loss of 1 Lakh soldier and gave the crown to the Madurai itself making the crown as the king and appointing this son "Sundra Cholan" as the viceroy of Madurai.

He build a new city with shiva temple erected as same as "Big Temple" in Tanjore. He also constructed new city called "Gangai Konda Chola Puram" to celebrate his victory over northern India and defeat of all king till the West Bengal king Pala. He was supported by many chieftains like Palluvur king, Kodumballur king, Samburaivar, Mallai Maan and other. The commander who gave the victory to chola over northern Indian was "Arain RajaRajan" a prince from pallava kingdom. The battle to Kadaram led by "Ellango" prince of Kodumballur.

This is the map of Cholan king who had captured the most of south East asia and he had the most powerful naval army. In his naval army it seems there was three different war ships and he is one to find the sea water flow and transported teak from Burma. Where the teak woods were just dropped in to the sea and it automatically reaches the shores of Rameshwaram. This technique was found by watching the movement of sea tortoise moving in water and this is the reason why tortoise was embedded in their coins.

The above are the few details about the great king and I am trying to know more about this king still there are plenty of things about them. I salute to my great historical hero "Raja Rajendran".
